Hello! I’m Alita, a yarn collector and Tunisian crochet enthusiast based in Vancouver, BC.
Founded in 2019, Alita Danette is inspired by the West Coast, by this city, the mountains, and the ocean. My aim is to create items that can be well-used and well-loved, whether it’s a pouch for your re-usable straws that you pop into your bag before getting bubble tea or that squishy baby blanket that is passed from your first born to your second.
When I’m not crocheting, you can find me drinking decaf vanilla lattes at a favourite local coffee shop, laying on my living room floor listening to my newest favourite song on repeat, or exploring one of the many, many hiking trails in and around our city.
A portion of all Alita Danette sales goes towards helping refugee families settle in the Vancouver area.
